By using the name POISE for the magazine, it aligns with the aspirational and empowering content within the pages of the magazine.
POISE is not your standard girly magazine. It doesn't give you the latest fashion news and celebrity coverage. The magazine pages redefine what it means to be a woman; different stories, different perspectives, one article at a time. POISE gives the readers the opportunity to connect with like-minded people and make meaningful connections.

Whilst making sure the magazine stands out, the online presence is also just as important. By introducing both a website and Instagram, it creates a more element to

What I learnt
POISE taught me that magazine design is more the decoration. An importance aspect of magazine design is it's identity and effectiveness. These features attract readers by enhancing their reading experience and achieving a loyal relationship with their readers. Whilst the magazine design is important in ensuring POSIE stands out from its competitors, consistency has a big impact on a publication successfulness. By picking a topic that means something to me, I was able to grow and create an attractive and consistent brand.
